Library of Birmingham
Finally went to see the new library today.Don't you think it's looks like a pile of Christmas presents? I really like it!
Was completely blown away inside with the architecture, The new library which cost £189m , calls itself the largest public library in Europe.
It's arranged in a number of layers,10 storeys high, penetrated by a central void. At the bottom is the children's part;at the top is the Shakespeare memorial room,a quasi-Elizabethan interior created for Birmingham's old central library in 1882 and reinstated here.
It is far more than a learning place ...

20th Century boy
I was extremely lucky to have won tickets for this amazing show at Alex Theatre, Birmingham. Musical based on an iconic singer/songwriter. It goes through the tragic short life of glam rock star Marc Bolan front man of T-Rex from school days to his timely death just before his 30th birthday.
All the cast members were great, was no weak links here. The finale was epic! ..will not be disappointed! I was singing all the way home...and the next day!
